Adventures of a Lifetime, a Lifetime of Adventure
Since 1976, we have designed and led unique, first-class adventures to exotic locations all around the world. Founder Dr. Jack Wheeler, described by The Wall Street Journal as “The Real Indiana Jones”, is one of the greatest explorers of modern times.
Greetings
I'm excited to let you know about an upcoming expedition that brings you both adventure and culture in an exotic region of India that I called "Indian Tibet." This is one of the very few places in the world that the Tibetan religion can still be practiced and the Tibetan culture is alive.
The adventure aspect is traveling overland in remote regions and river rafting for three days. Except for those 3 days of rafting and camping (our outfitter provides all equipment) -- the rest of the time we stay in nice lodges.
The dates are August 14 to 27, 2022 and ending in New Delhi. India is open. (No vax required only a negative test within 72 hours.)
We have some already signed up for this one and can take a few more travelers, so reach out soon. The Indian-Tibet Expedition gives you a lot of photos and details -- but I cannot resist sharing that I told our son, Brandon, on this expedition when he was only 10 years old. (He was in a group of adults, but even at this age, he'd been to dozens of countries.) This year we will all be adults -- this trip is perfect for anyone who is adventurous with reasonable good health.
Now it's hard to believe that he is 38 years old...and a leader. The trip pdf says "led by Brandon Wheeler and Eddy Downpatrick" -- I simply must join this expedition and plan to be there as well.
The world is an extraordinary place and in each of these countries, you have an opportunity to expand your understanding of the world with a marvelous experience.
